Hell yeah! BLACK AND BLUE !!! That track should go to every radio outlet… and it will crush. There was an instrument track about 2 mins long that was part of the Watertown demos that leaked out just before Falling Home. I hope that gets revisited, and maybe grows up to be something as the musical track was hook filled. Maybe release the Bluebird Cafe show and an official bootleg.. especially with the Open Road version with.. was it Tim Rice? If I recall. Any live stuff from the Moon era, any full length solo full band live shows? ANY VIDEO of that era for us folks that never got to see like, the Start The Car tour/band. The record release show with band for IDKWIATW. The live cuts from Letterman and Leno… Hey… I’ve always wanted to ask… regarding the Leno Tonight show performance. You had a full band and it sure looked like they were primed to just rock out… but for some reason instead you went left turn and basically did a stripped down almost acoustic version of Tell the Truth.. and different from the record.. and hardly any accompanyment from the band.. Did you take a left turn there and decide on the spot to do a different treatment of that song? It’s a brilliant version, so sensitive… and the guitar solo just dripping with feel. And question 2) were you uncomfortable walking out on Leno to do Start the Car?.. what was your take on that experience, and Will Lee messing up the Maybelline part?! And be careful of Ellay.. She’ll get ‘cha. …dear lord, I do prattle on.. LOL lastly.. what do you think of Ricky playing bass with, and his work with and the band, Rival Sons?
